Charlie PS I have that board and recently upgraded to 1008.Start up and when the ASUS A7N8X logo appears hit ALT F2.3. I don't know just how necessary this is, but everyone recommends it.You'll be prompted for the name of the BIOS file you want to flash in, type it in full. I used the ASUS update utility and after a few failed attempts it worked.With the A7N8X, BIOS flashing could be performed by your average kindergartener.....it's never been this easy.1.Just copy the BIOS binary into a floppy and write down the full name of the file (extension as well).2. Just to be on the safe side, before flashing, go into your BIOS reset all your settings to default....
